Larisa Roy grew up near Palco and is a graduate of Palco High School and Kansas State University. This is her third year teaching kindergarten at Damar Elementary. Mrs. Roy is the mother of four and lives in Palco with Mr. Roy, her youngest child and their beloved dog. Mrs. Roy loves watching young learners learn to read. She has completed training in Pathways to Reading as well as LETRS: Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling.p>
