1. Palco USD #269 is currently in need of substitute teachers and bus drivers. Substitute teachers must be licensed by the Kansas Department of Education (KSDE), with at least 60 college credit hours. Bus drivers must hold a CDL P/S license. 2. Palco USD #269 is currently searching for a Superintendent of Schools. The Superintendent must be licensed by the Kansas Department of Education (KSDE) or be able to obtain a Kansas District Administration license. 3. Palco USD #269 is currently searching for a K-12 Building Administrator. The Building Administrator must be licensed by the Kansas Department of Education or be able to obtain a Kansas Building Administration License. 4. USD #269 is currently searching for a PreK teacher for the 2026.2027 school year. Qualified applicants must hold a Kansas Teaching License with the endorsement of Early Childhood Education (EC-EC or PRK-3) or Early Childhood Unified (B-K or B-3) or Elementary Education (PRK-6). Applicants must be able to pass a background check, have high ethical standards and will maintain confidentiality regarding student and district matters. 5. Palco USD #269 is currently hiring for the position of Board Clerk. This is a non-exempt, full time position. Experience with school accounting and human resources is preferred but training is available for the right applicant.
