Bus Times for the 2026-2027 School Year
These are our bus times as of 8/17/2026. Please have your students ready a few minutes prior and understand that the first few days of school, times may be off just a bit. Morning: 7:15 - Hill City @ T & L 7:15 - Damar 7:25 - PJSHS 7:30 - Daycare 7:35 - Damar - riders Afternoon 4:15 - Daycare 4:20 - Hill City @ T & L 4:20 - PJSHS 4:30 - Zurich Transportation changes should be communicated with your school office as soon as they are known.
Damar Elementary Student Drop Off Times
This year students that are car riders or walkers to Damar Elementary are asked not to arrive prior to 7:40 a.m. Unfortunately, we do not have staff on duty to supervise students prior to this time. Students that will be eating breakfast (served at 7:45 a.m.) will be allowed to enter the cafeteria. Students not eating breakfast will be directed to the gym area to wait until it is time to go to class. We thank you for your understanding and look forward to another great year in Damar!
District Cell Phone Policy
Dear Parents and Guardians, The Kansas Legislature passed a new law (HB 2299) that requires all public schools to prohibit student use of personal electronic communication devices (to include cell phones, smart watches, wireless earbuds, fitness trackers, smart glasses, personal tablets, laptops and gaming devices) during the school day. Welcome to our new PreK Teacher!
We would like to welcome our new PreK teacher is Ashley Kuhn. Ashley is very well known and respected in our community. Our PreK class this year will be a morning only combined class for the 3 and 4 year old children. Class time is 8 am to 11:30 am.
