August 2026 Board Meeting Date Change

Open House at DES - August 17, 2026
The annual Open House at Damar Elementary will be on Monday, August 17th from 6 - 7 pm. This is the night to have your students meet their teacher, see their classroom and bring in the supplies for the year. We look forward to seeing you!
USD 269 Unpaid Meal Policy
Unpaid Meal Policy The district’s meal charging requirements are as follows: A charge account for students paying full or reduced price for meals may be established with the district. 2025 Yearbooks Have Arrived!
The 2025 Palco Jr Sr High yearbooks have arrived. Each book is $50. Contact Stephanie at the Jr Sr High to purchase yours today. Yearbooks will also be available for purchase at enrollment. Don't miss out!
Enrollment Dates
Enrollment for the 2026.2027 school year will be Wednesday, August 5th from noon to 8 pm and Thursday, August 6th from 8 am to 4 pm. If you are not able to make either of these times, please contact your school office.
PreK Teacher Opening
USD #269 is currently searching for a PreK teacher for the 2026.2027 school year. Qualified applicants must hold a Kansas Teaching License with the endorsement of Early Childhood Education (EC-EC or PRK-3) or Early Childhood Unified (B-K or B-3) or Elementary Education (PRK-6). Applicants must be able to pass a background check, have high ethical standards and will maintain confidentiality regarding student and district matters.
