November 9 ANNOUNCEMENT
USD 269 COVID-19 School Update:
Due to quarantine and positive cases of COVID within our staff and students,
USD 269 will learn remotely until Tuesday, November 24th. This difficult decision was made by the administration along with the advice of local health officials, including Rooks County Health Department. We do realize this is an inconvenience to our families, but right now we do not have enough healthy staff to keep the schools open.
DES teachers will take Tuesday, November 10 to get supplies and devices ready for students. Parents will be contacted with supply delivery/pick up information. PJSHS students will begin remote learning at 8:00 on Tuesday, November 10.
We are working on a plan to have lunches available for pick up later in the week. Watch your email and the school website for more information.
We appreciate the community support as we work through these issues each week. It is important for everyone to work together to keep our students, staff and community safe. Thank you for continuing to social distance, mask and practice good hygiene.
